Look at the past to see the future
Other passions we have, outside languages, music, art and fine dining are history and philosophy! This writer still remembers the wise comment made by one of his high school teachers to a class which contained history buffs and those that would rather be somewhere else – “How do you know where you are going if you don’t know where you have been?”
So true then and now.
