Ski Development for middle to advanced skiers.
New Zealand presents a varied range of ski fields, from full commercial fields to club fields which accept non-member participation. Within our team of KIWI experts we have a native of Christchurch who has skied most fields in the South Island at some time. As a past teacher in New Zealand he is also aware of the club and college ski scene and through personal contacts can access some venues outside the mainstream accommodation usually offered to visiting skiers. There is no one itinerary that would suit all enquiries. Therefore, each itinerary will have to be designed in consultation with the group organiser here in Australia, our office and our New Zealand based Outdoor Education contact. Fields vary in; style of accommodation, tow configurations, physical access and degree of difficulty. Consideration for alternative activities is also discussed, should weather conditions dictate a no skiing day or should the area offer other subjects relevant to the students study areas.

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING
New Zealand is known for its downhill, Australia more for its cross country – ‘must be something to do with the shape of the mountains’. However, the ‘McKenzie Country and Cardronna both offer the chance to enjoy quality cross country. Our McKenzie Country base is a private hut set up in an area only accessible by foot and 4 wheel drive only. Cardron offers resort style accommodation.
SNOWBOARDING
All fields in New Zealand cater for snowboarding and all major commercial sites offer instruction.
