Depart Australia on your flight to France
Day 2 Paris (D)
Upon arrival at Paris Airport, transfer to your accommodation. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Paris as a group.
First night’s accommodation in Paris
Day 3 Paris (B,D)
This morning, explore l'Ile de la Cite, including the magnificent Cathedral of Notre Dame. You might like to visit its gargoyles! In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to the Louvre Museum, home to works such as the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo.
Second night’s accommodation in Paris
Day 4 Paris (B,D)
This morning, walk along the Champs Elysées, Paris’ most famous avenue. Climb the Arc de Triomphe. This afternoon, enjoy a 1-hour cruise on the Seine River, followed by a visit to the Eiffel Tower for unforgettable view s of greater Paris.
Third night’s accommodation in Paris
Day 5 Versailles (B,D)
Spend the day exploring the famous Palace of Versailles, former home to many French kings, including the Sun King, Louis the 14th. Enjoy walking through the gardens and bike riding in the park. Return to Paris in the afternoon.
Fourth night’s accommodation in Paris
Day 6 Paris (B,D)
This morning, visit the Musée d’Orsay, and admire the famous Impressionist collection. Make your way to Les Invalides and visit the Musée de l’armée and Napoleon’s tomb. Walk around the Latin Quarter this afternoon.
Fifth night’s accommodation in Paris
Day 7 Termignon La Vanoise (B,D)
This morning transfer to Gare de Lyon for your train up into the Alps. Upon arrival, transfer to your accommodation in Termignon la Vanoise (or Sollières).
First night’s accommodation in the Alps
Day 8 - Day 13 Termingon La Vanoise Participate in a 6-day snow sport program. Choose between:
down-hill skiing
cross-country skiing
snow boarding
Daily lessons with an instructor will be followed by practice to improve newly acquired skills.
6 nights full-board accommodation in the Alps (B,PL,D)
Day 14 Provcnce (B,PL,D)
This morning, travel by train to Avignon. Explore the town as a group, including visits to the Benezet Bridge and the Palais des Papes. Continue on to Nîmes and visit the Maison Carrée and the Roman Arenas. Stop at Arles en route to Aix en Provence this afternoon.
Overnight accommodation in Aix en Provence
Day 15 Aix en Provence, Nice (B,PL,D)
This morning explore Aix en Provence as a group. Enjoy free time in the Cours Mirabeau and Place des Quatre Dauphins, and visit the Cathedral of St Sauveur. Travel by train to Nice and enjoy a free afternoon in the city.
Overnight accommodation in Nice
Day 16 France - Australia (B)
Transfer to Nice Airport for your return flights to Australia.
Day 17 Australia
Arrive home to Australia.
